No MVPs mode bans the roughly 35 most valuable players in the pool β the all-time scoring and rebounding giants the engine prices highest. Everyone else is fair game, which means you are building from very good players rather than legends. It is the same roll-and-draft 82-0, just without the easy buttons.
How to play 82-0 No MVPs
Hit Spin to roll a team and era, then pick a player for each court position β exactly like the classic 82-0 game. The only difference is that the roughly 35 priciest all-time greats are removed from every list, so you are building from very good players instead of legends. Fill all five spots, simulate the 82-game season, and submit your record to the No MVPs leaderboard.
How to go 82-0 without superstars
Balance wins it. The engine punishes any single weak category, so spread your production across scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks. Cheap rim protectors and high-assist guards carry more weight than another mid-volume scorer, and a versatile forward who covers two positions buys you flexibility. Hit every category and even a star-less five can chase a perfect season.
Is 82-0 possible without MVPs?
Yes, but it is hard. Without elite scorers and rebounders to carry you, a perfect season demands a genuinely balanced five β solid in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks all at once.
